My husband and I bought half a game pie and a stuffed chicken with lemon and wild boar from you at the recent Chilli Fest at Levens Hall. Mmmm they were delicious. The chicken was so moist and tender and the filling scrumtious. The pastry on the pie melted in the mouth and the game filling was tasty without being overpowering. See you at your shop very soon !

At last I have found somewhere that sells suckling pig. Might seem pricey at £65, but worth every penny. Cooked one at the weekend as a practice for Christmas and it was outstanding. Even the mass of cold pork which followed kept its flavour and tenderness. One tip – cover the ears with foil!

We placed an order on 18/12/10 hoping against hope to recieve it for xmas. We knew of the snow there (as had phoned to check) and knew our town’s roads were impassable for the first time in our knowledge.
What a surprise when it was delivered perfectly on Tues 21/12!

A friend visiting from the UK brought over some of the best black pudding I’ve ever tasted – perfectly seasoned with a great texture – bought from your stall in Borough Market. We have some fine butchers, locally, who produce some excellent pork, but their black pud isn’t a patch on yours.

Love the wild boar sausages: spicy or not – especially wild boar chorizo, all’s very fresh. Wild boar caserole is now our favourite of all times – so much flavour and no chemicals or preservatives, which is most important!
