Lakeland Lamb
This time of year is SPRING for our Herdwick Lambs- atleast thats what they think. They were born in spring actually but unlike the lowland breeds they are not ready for the table untill the autumn.
Our herdwick Lambs are slower growing and more intense flavour. They reflect our geographical location in the uplands of the Lake District.
When not available we do sell Lakeland Lamb bought from our local abbattoirs from the north west of England. This is mild and delicious and sometimes a little fatter as the sheep have not had to forage as hard for there food. .
